10-14 June 2019: Advanced Methods of the Cultural Approach to History
Please join us for an exciting opportunity to further your talent in the use and practice of the Cultural Approach to History. All educators of grades K-12 in History, Social Studies, ELA, Art, and Economics are invited to join the Ivey Center for a week of continuing to build your expertise on the Cultural Approach framework. The workshop will include opportunities for collaboration in teaching with primary sources, applying advanced techniques of the Cultural Approach, and developing standards-based lesson plans.
This event will be held at Columbus State University Riverpark Campus in Frank Brown Hall, from 8:30am-3:30pm, each day, with two field experience days to be conducted off site during the week. In addition to valuable networking opportunities, materials, and supplies, participants will also receive breakfast, lunch, and a $700 stipend.
