July 15, 2021 – Culturally responsive teaching & Dealing with Sensitive Topics

Culturally Responsive Teaching & Dealing with Sensitive Topics
How can we respect and acknowledge all students’ cultures while tackling sensitive topics? The Cultural Approach provides students and teachers with the lenses they need to better understand themselves and those around them. See how the Cultural Approach can help to facilitate culturally-sensitive conversations, even while discussing history’s most sensitive topics.

Pre-registration required. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion. Those interested can choose between one of two sessions: June 24 from 9 to 11 a.m. EST OR July 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. EST Registrants will receive a link to join the Zoom session one week prior to the event.
